The Evolution of Embedded Insurance

Pattern’s Co-founder and President, Noam Shapira, is headlining at ITIC Global 2022 on 24th October in Athens.

The conference celebrates 30 years of connecting the travel and health insurance community. It’s an exciting time for the insurance industry. This year’s hot topic on the agenda at ITIC is embedded insurance, thanks to its potential as a high-margin, high-growth revenue generator.

Embedded insurance provides an opportunity for the market to evolve and embrace digital innovation by including new protection products in new places, retail settings or sold alongside events and experiences.

Noam will be speaking in the conference’s travel and assistance evolution session alongside other leading industry experts, including Efrat Sagi-Ofir, Founder & CRO of Air Doctor and Ges Londsdale, Head of B2B2C, Europe at Cover-More. The session will identify progress in the insurance industry, looking in detail at product development and evolution aspects. It will consider how insurtech allows the industry to meet customers’ needs more effectively.

Noam will introduce the concept and development of embedded insurance products, examining how insurers, distributors and customers benefit. He will outline the challenges and provide tips on overcoming them. This session is an opportunity to learn about the evolution of embedded insurance and hear how distribution is changing in line with customer behaviour and experience.

The travel insurance sector continues to adapt at pace, embracing technology and developing new products to meet consumer demands. ITIC Global offers a platform for companies across all travel and health industries to collaborate and create shared solutions.
